Restoration

With the centenary of the current church with us now, it comes as no surprise that the building is in need of some
restoration.  In order to repair the damage sustained by the building, it is going to cost the parish in excess of
£150,000 to complete the work.

Damp walls, guttering, paintwork, lighting, heating, floors etc. all need to worked on you can see the church in its
current state.  The mines have gone from Maesteg and so have the people.  With the weekly Mass attendance
being between 300 - 400 people, the parish has a lot of fund raising to do in order for the restoration to proceed,
